Estimator - Tradesman

LOCATION: Base office 171Y/49 Station Rd Yeerongpilly 

 

SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Matt Winch 

 

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

ESTIMATOR 

 

• Collaborate with clients to provide accurate quotations for required works.

• Create jobs from successful quotes by creating material list, scheduling of job and time frame which to perform.

• Create a handover procedure to pass successful work on to field technicians. 

• To manage the operation of a successful job until complete.

• To follow up on job once complete to ensure quality of work and satisfaction of client. 

 

TRADESMAN 

 

• To back up field technicians when required.

• To complete drain cleaning and camera inspections for further estimating opportunities.

• To perform general Plumbing duties when overflow of work presents itself.

• Share experience and knowledge of trade with all others within field and assist with training of junior staff.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

 

Qualifications: Certificate 3 in Plumbing and Drainage Occupational License 

 

Experience: 

 

• Appropriate hand skills 

• Experience in many facets of plumbing and drainage 

• Experience in Estimating 

• Experience in job management 

• Experience in team management 

 

Skills: 

 

To communicate clearly with clients and fellow workers Use appropriate hand skills and tools as required.
